Power-kiting and climbing

Back working for Plymouth College today and the boarders planned activity was Power - kiting.
16 students signed up for the activity so we walked down to central park where the winds were moderate and consistent, great for teaching the basics of flying 4 line ram air kites. All of the students commented on having a great time, a few managed to get the hang of brake turning the kite but all managed to fly the kite in a figure 8.
After dinner Jay and I decided to make use of the dry november evening and head out again for a spot of night climbing. On arrival we were greeted by a couple of other local climbers making use of the dry weather. We climbed two routes, Leviathan (VS 4b) and Mucky Gully (D). A good end to another activity filled weekend.
