Another day Kayaking on the River Dart

Back out on the River Dart today but this time with six students from Plymouth College. Gwilym and I opted to run the section between Holne Bridge and Buckfastleigh (grade 2 with weirs). The students very quickly picked up some basic whitewater skills which meant we could run all the features on the river on not have to portage. Smiles all round were a sign of a good day and many of the students are eager to get out on the river again.
